Since the release of its first version in September 2023, CharacterX has attracted more than 7 million registered users. CharacterX also successfully completed the seed funding round, registered with the Stanford Blockchain Accelerator, and won the Solana Hackathon Top Three earlier this year. In July, CharacterX launched the Telegram Mini app, which has already gained significant traction.
CharacterX is neither arrogant nor complacent because CharacterX knows that none of this would have been possible without the community – without you.
Recently, CharacterX has received many questions about why the original plan was deviated from. To put it mildly, despite our tireless efforts, many things happened that were beyond our control. However, this is not about making excuses or asking for forgiveness.
In the world of Web3, CharacterX must face new challenges and adapt. Because you either change or you die. Therefore, CharacterX is publishing this letter to explain the upcoming plan so that CharacterX can move forward together.
1. Roadmap development
The world is changing. Web3 is changing. And CharacterX is changing. But adapting the roadmap is not a reaction, it is an action. CharacterX has chosen to evolve the roadmap to include new features each season to better achieve the end goal.

2. Token system
Throughout the development of CharacterX, there have been three main points: CXC, CXT, and CAI. Each of these tokens plays a unique role in improving the functionality and user experience of the platform. Here's a closer look at the differences between them.
Token Details
- CharacterX Coin (CXC)
- Character X Coin (CXC) is our built-in virtual currency that unlocks access to certain features within the platform. As part of our incentive system, a key function of CXC is to enable continuous interactions with your virtual friends and help you earn CharacterX Governance Token Points (CAI).
- Preseason CXT (Airdrop Eligible)
- CXT represents the points earned during our preseason. More CXT points mean bigger rewards. Users can use CXT points to claim NFTs as credentials to participate in the upcoming airdrop campaign. The distribution of CXT will end with the preseason.
- CAI for the regular season (airdrop eligible)
- CAI points are specifically for our regular season. Members can earn CAI during various airdrop seasons through both the CharacterX app and our Telegram Mini app.
The benefits of the CAI token
- Creating AI characters: Creating AI characters requires a certain amount of CAI.
- Trading AI Assets: CAI token will be the currency for all major trading and transaction fees of AI Assets
- Development Staking Protocol: To prevent harmful or malicious actions, all developers must stake a certain amount of CAI tokens
- AI Assets Level Up: Advanced AI Features and Levels
- Community administrative rights: voting, making proposals, etc.
- Repurchase and Burn: Burn with the profit made
CAI token burning mechanism
When users need to create more characters (i.e. generate more assets), they need to burn CAI tokens. The regular buyback and burning of CAI tokens is done based on market conditions and profitability with the goal of stabilizing and increasing the price of the token.
3. Airdrop instruction
The TGE airdrop and CAI amount will be released
In total, CharacterX has allocated 8% of the total CAI token (100,000,000) for airdrop to reward our early participants (that is, you). Detailed CAI tokens for each season are:
- Preseason: 1%
- Season 1: 2%
How to calculate your Airdrop
Your airdrop percentage = (Your points / Total points of all users in the season) * Season's CAI token allocation.
Example:
- In Season 1 you earned 1,000,000 points;
- The total score of all users in Season 1 is 100,000,000 points;
- In Season 1, 2% of all CAI tokens will be released.
- Your airdrop percentage = (1,000,000 / 100,000,000) * 2% = 0.01 * 0.02 = 0.0002 = 0.02%;
- You will receive 0.02% of the total CAI tokens during the airdrop;
- The total amount of CAI tokens is 100,000,000, so you will receive 20,000 CAI tokens for your points earned in Season 1.
